SEASON ONE: Irresistible Urge - Episode 7 and 8

Nath became confuse looking at his father who stood before him under the ornamental crop wearing a traditional attire and a staff in his hand. Regardless of his small stature and environment, he was well educated.
"Welcome, father" Nath straightened up. "What do you mean by not all things worth mind taking?" he asked.
"Nath my son, i have been observing you from a distant. And as your father, i know that your mind sometimes wander to something. I hope that thing worth thinking of" the father replied.
Nath remaind mute for sometimes and said, "Father, what are the things that doesn't worth it?"
"The things or persons that distract u from important achievements"
"Talking about persons, i think all people worth thinking of"
Mr Anuma transferred his staff to another hand and took three steps forward. "No son, any person that doesn't contribute positively to ur life doesn't worth it" he emphasized critically lifting the staff above the ground.
Nath became mute again with his face down thinking whether Ellen contributes positively to his life or not. So he raised his head and said, "What if the person doesn't contribute positively but i find myself thinking about her every minutes?"
"That's where distraction comes in, so you must focus" the father concluded and began to go inside. But he stopped and called, "Son?"
"Yes, father" Nath listened attentively looking at him.
"Distraction doesn't only comes in, love does too but u must not let it distract ur important activities" the father finally entered into his house then Nath remained speechless.

THE NEXT DAY AT ASSS
Already, all the students had gathered on the assembly ground. After prayers and other things, Mrs Marvelous, the principal stood beside the national flag-stand looking at the quiet students. She has a high pitch voice, fashionable hair, painted fingernails, fat body and average height.
"Good morning students?" she began.
"Good morning ma" the students chorused.
"I want to commend on your hard works and keeping the school rules and regulations. The SS3 students have to work harder for their waec examination especially the science students.." the principal moved towards SS3 students' line. She raised her right hand as a way to say something very important. At that time, Nath and Ellen glanced at each other but averted their eyes without any sign of communication. "..You have to make findings on your own. Think critically as a science student and invent new things. Every laboratory materials have been made available for you in this ASSS.."
"Heeey!" the students shouted thereby interrupting the principal. Some giggled while some laughed at her last word, 'ASSS.' Even the teachers couldn't help it but smiled.
"Quiet there!" Mr Jumbo shouted and picked up a cane then all became quiet. "Corrupt minded people" he added thereby causing another laughter.
The principal also smiled and said, "You should know what i mean by 'ASSS' it's the acronym of the school name: Alvana Senior Secondary.."
"School!!" the students completed.
"Yes oh, we are the ASSS!" a male voice shouted from the crowd which caused a serious laughter.
Nath and Ellen looked at each other again laughing. They suddenly stared silently feeling their heartbeats. Nath waved at her with a smile then she waved back and turned immediately still smiling too. Even Mr Jumbo couldn't help it anymore so he began to laugh out loud.
"I'm done" the principal said walking out with a smile too then the assembly ended hilariously.

BREAK PERIOD
Teachers had to face another problem of stopping the students from misusing the acronym 'ASSS' as 'ass' because it was the topic of the day from both junior and senior students. Cent became the worst person who used the word frequently to the extent his changed his name from Star Boy to Star the ASSS Boy.
Nath and Kennedy sat on the last three stairs, the one on the assembly ground because the weather was cool. One could see junior students playing around while some senior students were playing football on the field.
"Today is a hilarious day and a happy day too" Nath told Kennedy.
"Why bro?" he asked.
"Our principal made it hilarious while Ellen made it happy"
"Wow, it seems like both of you are now in good terms"
"You mean Ellen?"
"Yes"
"kind of"
"Good to hear bro" Kennedy became quiet. "But why don't you go further and tell her that you love her?" he asked.
"Love?" Nath stared at him.
"Must we go through this again? Make an approach bro!" Kennedy pushed him friendly. "Since u are always the person girls want" he added sadly with a low voice.
"What do you mean by that? Who are the girls?" Nath became curious.
As Kennedy wanted to reply, Cent's voice from a distant with a junior student interrupted him. So both looked at them.

"Star the ASSS Boy!" the junior student hailed.
"Yoh mehn! You're the correct ASSS boy" Cent replied bouncing..

Episode 8

There was a glowing smile on Nath and Kennedy's face after Cent bounced out like a Niga. So their heads went back to their initial position trying to remember their last discussion.
"So who are the girls you were talking about?" Nath remembered.
"Forget it bro" Kennedy replied. "Aren't you noticing Peace's attitude all this while?" he added.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean Peace wants you more than any other girl.." Kennedy paused and bent his head while Nath kept looking at him silently. "Sometimes i feel jealous probably because i have my eyes on her while she's busy demanding for your attention" he added with a low voice.
Nath fully understood what he said but remained speechless. As he placed his hand on Kennedy's shoulder trying to say a word, a female voice came from behind.
"Hey, Nath" Peace said having a standing position in front of them with a book and pen in her hand. Kennedy didn't bother to raise his head up coz he knew it was Peace, and also believed she didn't come for him.
"Hi, Peace" Nath smiled at her as if things were ok.
"Please, can you help me do this assignment before break over coz i know Mr Idris will demand for the submission" Peace wore a piteous face.
"Let me see" Nath stretched his hand to collect the book from her but Kennedy raised his head and said, "Don't do the assignment, Nath"
The statement set confusion into Nath's head, so he remaind dormant staring at Kennedy.
"Kennedy, what's your Problem?!" Peace provoked.
"You are my problem!" Kennedy began. "You don't take your school work seriously. This physics assignment you want to do few minutes before submission was given to us for the past three days. If you were serious, you would have seeked for Nath's help before now"
"How does that concern you!" Peace barked then Nath stared at her too. "You normally interfere in anything that concerns me! Did i demand for your help?!"
"Is high time you sat up and be more serious with your studies" Kennedy stood up and walked out.
Nath was still speechless looking at Peace who hit her legs angrily on the ground, hissed and walked out too. "What do i call this now?" he soliloquized after a deep breath and stood up.

Ellen was at the window in a way she placed her two hands on it, also bent in a way her buttocks pointed backward. She kept looking at students through the window. Suddenly, Nath appeared beside her and stood in the same position, so she smiled happily.
"I just saw you and Kennedy outside. I wanted to come over there too" Ellen said.
"Then why didn't you come?" Nath looked at her.
"Do you think i should have come?"
"Yes"
"Why?"
Nath became confuse. "Because you wanted to come" he replied smartly then Ellen smiled. She knew she asked a smart question to make Nath say something he never intended to say but she was surprise he answered smartly too which caused her smile.
"Are you indirectly trying to force a word from my mouth?" Nath asked suspiciously.
"No" Peace replied.
"Then why didn't you come since you wanted to come?"
"Because Peace came before me" Ellen replied softly then stared into his eyes. Nath also couldn't say anything but stared at her too trying to deduce the meaning of what she said.
"What's going on here?" a male voice came from behind. So both turned immediately to see Simeon standing with hands inside his pockets. "Sorry, if i interrupted something" he added.
"No, you didn't" Nath forced out a smiled while Ellen glanced at him.
"I hope you don't mind if i have her attention now?"
"I was about going" Nath glanced at Ellen and went out.
Simeon walked closer to Ellen at the window, yet, she never said a word. "I brought the provisions" he broke the silence.
"What?!" Ellen glared at him. "Why would you do that? I told you i don't need it"
"But i want your happiness"
"Why?"
"Coz i like you"
"I guess you are a clown"
"I'm not being funny"
"Well, thank you for your generosity. I don't want any of them" Ellen walked out.

At another angle in the class, Peace rested her head on her locker boiling in anger. Beside her was Olivia who had been asking her what the problem is but didn't get a respond. Just then, Kennedy walked in there standing before her locker.
"What's going on, Kennedy?" Olivia asked.
Hearing the name, 'Kennedy' Peace raised her head angrily.
"What are you doing here!" she barked thereby attracting students' attention.
"I'm sorry about the way i talked to you" Kennedy replied.
"Just leave my presence!"
"Calm down, Peace" Olivia tried to calm her down.
"I said I'm sorry!" Kennedy placed his hand on her locker then she pushed him hardly saying, "Don't touch my locker!"
The force in which Kennedy received the push fell him on a locker behind which also fell and hit another locker and another hit another and so on. Then Students gathered around.
"Oh my God!" Olivia exclaimed rushing to help Kennedy up. "Peace, what have you done?!" she added.
