African Children experience the true Joy of Childhood

I would never have written a better blog post than this if I still waited for Lucille to bring with her a memory of what childhood used to be in 4th street New Jersey or what it used to be in Bradford, London, I truly felt the sweet joy of childhood when we moved to Lagos, Surulere had it all or was it when we moved to Port Harcourt that I experienced the swift change and adaptation to a New Environment, Childhood in Africa is everything… 😊

The Joy

The anxiety

The pair

The feeling.. 

I can’t wait for Lucille to come, I will tell her what I think about childhood in Nigeria 🇳🇬, or should I say Africa 🌍, she has spent her life in the UK 🇬🇧 and have memories of what she heard about Africa

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), has released the May/June WASSCE results, withholding results of 13.79 per cent candidates as 59.22 per cent pass English Language and Mathematics. WASSEC candidate Speaking at a press briefing held at its corporate office, Yaba, Lagos on Monday, Head of National Office, Nigeria, Mr Olu Adenipekun said the performance results recorded this year improved over the 2015 and 2016 WASSCE. Edo state university establish for wealthy people- VC

The Management of the state-owned Edo University, Iyamho,(EUI) says the institution was established to essentially cater for academically-endowed students and the wealthy in the society. The Vice Chancellor(VC) of the institution, Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor, disclosed this on Monday, in Iyamho-Uzairue, in the Estako-West local government area of Edo. He said: “the idea behind the establishment of Edo University by the founding fathers is neither to replace nor compete with the existing Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. “But rather, to complement it in terms of providing world-class education with the best of infrastructure to academically-gifted students and the rich, who can afford the fees. “People have questioned why former Gov.
