African Children experience the true Joy of Childhood

I would never have written a better blog post than this if I still waited for Lucille to bring with her a memory of what childhood used to be in 4th street New Jersey or what it used to be in Bradford, London, I truly felt the sweet joy of childhood when we moved to Lagos, Surulere had it all or was it when we moved to Port Harcourt that I experienced the swift change and adaptation to a New Environment, Childhood in Africa is everything… 😊

The Joy

The anxiety

The pair

The feeling.. 

I can’t wait for Lucille to come, I will tell her what I think about childhood in Nigeria 🇳🇬, or should I say Africa 🌍, she has spent her life in the UK 🇬🇧 and have memories of what she heard about Africa

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), has released the May/June WASSCE results, withholding results of 13.79 per cent candidates as 59.22 per cent pass English Language and Mathematics. WASSEC candidate Speaking at a press briefing held at its corporate office, Yaba, Lagos on Monday, Head of National Office, Nigeria, Mr Olu Adenipekun said the performance results recorded this year improved over the 2015 and 2016 WASSCE. Black American Actor, Jussie Smollet is a free Man now. All the 16 felony counts against him have been dropped. Chicago PD has also release Jussie Smollett’s Case files for all to see. Chicago police offered a detailed glimpse into their work on the Jussie Smollett case, releasing 61 pages of records to WGN on Wednesday following a Freedom of Information Act request. The document dump arrives one day after a surprising twist in the case against the Empire actor, with Cook County prosecutors dropping the 16-count indictment that accused him of masterminding a racist and homophobic attack on himself in order to further his career. The exhaustive file, which redacts witness names and other information, follows the investigation from the beginning — tracing the steps of a confusing narrative that began with Smollett claiming he was the victim of a hate crime in Chicago’s Streeterville neighbourhood.
